How do I add content to folders on the home page (Employee Manuals and Resources and Manager Manuals and Resources)?

Adding Items to the Employee Manuals and Manager Manuals Folders

Published manuals can be added either to the Employee Manuals or Manager Manuals folders on the home page through the Manual Builder Area, under the PUBLISHING TOOLS folder.  (Note: you must have at least one published manual in order to do this). 

  1. Click on the "View and Post Published Manuals" link under the PUBLISHING TOOLS folder.  A list of all published manuals will appear on the right side of the screen.
     
  2. Below each published manual are two check boxes:  "Allow Managers to View" and "Allow Employees to View".  Each check box corresponds to one of the folders on the home page.
     
  3. Click on the appropriate check box below the published manual(s) you want to post on the home page.  Published Manuals placed in the "Employee" folder will be available to any user from your credit union or organization with a login.  Published Manuals placed in the "Manager" folder will be only be available to users with full admin access, or those who have been granted access to see those folders.
     
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the published manual listing and click the "Update Access button"

Adding Items to the Employee Resources and Manager Resources Folders

Documents are added to either the Employee or Manager Resources folders through the STORAGE area.  By default, the Storage area contains three folders: “Root”, “Employee Resources”, and “Manager Resources”.  Files uploaded to the Employee or Manager Resources folders will be displayed on the Home Page in the corresponding folder.

Uploading Files to Storage

  1. Click the folder to which you wish to upload your document.
      
  2. To upload a document, click the “Browse” button next to "File(s) to Upload". This will allow you to browse your computer hard drive or network to choose a file.
     
  3. Once you’ve found the file to upload, click on the file name, then click the “Open” button on the dialogue box.
     
  4. The name of the file will now appear next to the "Browse" button. Click the “Upload” button, and the file will be uploaded.
